Hi MCCM bros and sis, 

Due to the development of this pandemics, things change quickly... as our Premier Doug Ford said, ‘This is changing hour by hour, day by day’.  Now, Ontario has declared State of Emergency.  Gatherings over 50 people will now be prohibited.  However, as in Romans 8:35-39 states...

Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or danger, or sword? ...... No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Therefore, pandemic will not stop us in loving our Lord, at home or at the church.  Here are something that the church has in arrangement for the time being.

  • Sunday worship:  We will continue to worship together.  However, worships will be available in different manners.
    • Cantonese service will take place in the gym with a maximum capacity of 49 people.
    • English service will take place at FEBC with a maximum capacity of 20 people.  Families with children and those with English efficiency are encourage to join English worship.  All Sunday School classes will be cancelled. 
    • Cantonese service will be broadcast thru YouTube Live, provided that technical aspect giving us the ability to do so
    • Cantonese service will be audio recorded as usual.  Those recording will be available online at the website (www.mccm.ca) as soon as possible, and of course, recordings will be available thru the library as usual.
  • Saturday Adult cell group:  
    • Mar 21 meeting will be hosted as a special pandemic program including sharing and praying time.  Anyone who feel they want to come, welcome to join us not with pressure, but with joy and peaceful heart.
  • Prayer Meetings
    • Mar 22 prayer meeting will continue as scheduled, 12:30pm at the church.  At this critical time, we do need to pray more, pray for ourselves and pray for the world.


We understand that many people are concerned about the pandemic caused by the virus COVID-19, in the world and in GTA. However, despite the pandemic situation, we should not panic and should put our trust in God for His protection and provisions. The church leadership will follow the situation closely and will proceed with preventative measures that will keep our church and the community healthy. 

Friendly reminder:
  • For those who are ill or have high risk medical conditions, please do not attend any church activities during this time. You are welcomed to worship and connect with us online.
  • Staying at home does not mean to be isolated with your church family.  During this pandemic period, we should be more united as the body of Christ, take this opportunity to care for those who are in need, and to be more closely connected and support each other thru our phones and other means. (Yes, your phone is not just for texting, you can make calls :P)
  • Please contact pastors, leaders, or other brothers and sisters if you need further support.
  • MCCM will continue to optimize our in-house programs in conjunction with the latest news release provided by the government.  Please continue to monitor updates through (a) emails, (b) all church-related WhatsApp groups, and (c) the church website (www.mccm.ca)

各位弟兄姊妹:

因新冠狀病毒疫情每日在轉變，今早Premier Doug Ford 宣佈安省正進入緊急狀態， 禁止所有多於50人的聚會。 不過羅馬書八章35至39節這樣說: 「誰能使我們與基督的愛隔絕呢？難道是患難嗎？是困苦嗎？是逼迫嗎？是飢餓嗎？是赤身露體嗎？是危險嗎？是刀劍嗎？……然而，靠著愛我們的主，在這一切的事上已經得勝有餘了。因為我深信無論是死，是生，是天使，是掌權的，是有能的，是現在的事，是將來的事，是高處的，是低處的，是別的受造之物，都不能叫我們與　神的愛隔絕；這愛是在我們的主基督耶穌裡的。」
無論身在何方，疫情不能停止我們愛主的心。
以下是多城播道會， 因應疫情的變化作出以下調動：
·         主日崇拜會照常在早上10時舉行，但會有以下安排
o   廣東話崇拜會在 Unit 1 Gym，最多容納49人
o   英語崇拜會在遠東廣播(FEBC)進行，最多容納20人
o   我們鼓勵明白英語的弟兄姊妹以及各家長陪同子女參加英語崇拜
(所有主日學將會取消)
o   技術許可下，我們會把廣東話崇拜以YouTube Live 形式作即時網上直播
o   廣東話崇拜會被錄音，放在多城網頁，讓各弟兄姊妹重溫。
·         3月21日(星期六)成人小組，有特別安排(合組)，題目是關於新冠病毒疫情，讓弟兄姊妹有分享及祈禱時間。
·         3月22日祈禱會，如期12:30在教會進行。在這疫情時期，鼓勵大家盡量參加，為家人和全世界祈禱。
我們相信大家正密切關注對新冠疫情的進展，特別是近在多倫多地區的消息。不過， 儘管出現了疫情，我們不應驚慌，應相信神對我們的保護和引領。職員會會繼續緊貼疫情的轉變，而安排相關的應變。

·         如有任何人身體不適請留在家中，上網參加崇拜
·         留在家中仍然可以和基督相連，趁此機會關心身邊有需要的人，可給他們打電話聯絡及慰問。
·         如有任何問題，請通知職員會任何一位成員
